The United Methodist Women Organization of the United Methodist Church of Floral Park is comprised of both members and guests who have a desire to support the Church and missions throughout the world.

 

United Methodist Women  As a member of the United Methodist Women’s organization you are called upon to affirm and support the PURPOSE, which states: “The organized unit of the United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

 

We the United Methodist Women of The Floral Park United Methodist Church are proud of its long record of receiving the FIVE STAR AWARD for accomplishing all requirements set forth by the New York Conference of the United Methodist Women.

 

With God's blessings through fund raisers and contributions made the UMW have added to their list of support for missions while at the same time supporting the missions of UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). In addition we continue to support missions at home such as The Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN), the United Methodist Center at Far Rockaway, Bethany Methodist Home, Brooklyn United Methodist Home, Methodist Hospital, and FISH (Friends In Support Here)

 

We cordially invite all ladies who are interested in becoming a member or would just like to take part in our meeting and work. Meetings are conducted at the church unless posted otherwise.
